Broadway Comes to Malta: Free Masterclasses for MAVC Students through US Embassy Collaboration

The Mikiel Anton Vassalli College (MAVC), in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Malta, is proud to announce a unique opportunity for performing arts students this May, as members of the renowned Broadway company ‘Company E’ are to visit the MAVC, Malta School of Drama & Dance to deliver a series of exclusive masterclasses.

Taking place between 18th and 22nd May, these sessions will offer professional-level training in musical theatre for both established performers and aspiring artists aged 16 and over, alongside specially designed workshops for younger students. Participants will have the rare chance to learn directly from experienced Broadway performers, gaining valuable insight into performance techniques, stagecraft, and artistic expression.

This initiative reflects MAVC’s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality international exposure and enriching learning experiences for its students through strategic partnerships.

All workshops are being offered free of charge. However, places are limited, and interested learners from MAVC Schools are encouraged to register by not later than 24th April by contacting the Head of School at the MAVC Malta School of Drama and Dance Mr Alan Fenech on alan.fenech@ilearn.edu.mt
